Tidsskrifter / Magazines - long and photoheavy post
During winter and spring I`ve received some subscription magazines and I`ve bought a lot too. It`s a newspaper and magazine store almost next door to the pharmacy, and I often pop in at lunch time or after work. This is what has come home with me or has been in my mailbox:
The following pictures show the magazines, and there is a some pictures of projects I find interesting too.
This is something for me - the chocoholic, but i don`t know if the fabrics are still available.
I like roses, so this is a bag I would love to make. Don`t think I`ve got the right fabrics for it, which is a great reason for some fabric shopping soon... Tiriltunge have made two bags from this pattern, but with a totally different choice of fabric. They are lovely! Have to confess I didn`t recognise the pattern before she told me.
I`ve got two copies of one of these magazines (embarrassing, but that is what happens when you don`t remember which magazines you`ve got, lol). I`ve planned to let it be part of a giveway. I`ve won a lot lately and wants to give something too. But I have to make something to go together with the magazine. In about six weeks I will celebrate my first blogoversary, and by that time I may have reach 100 posts too. Might be one big giveaway or may be some more, you`ll have to wait and see.

Pakke i posten / I`ve got mail
Yesterday I found a package in my mailbox. It was from (morgrethe), a norvegian blogger. I won her giveaway in december when she celebrated her 200th post. She left a comment for me on Christmas eve, telling me about it. But she hadn`t decided what the prize should be; she told me I had to wait some time for the package. This is what I got in my package, it was worth waiting for:
Se her hva jeg fikk:
A lovely stitchery, some fabrics and coordinating embrodery yarn. Not colours I usually buy, but I think they are lovely and have started planning what to make.
(morgrethe) had read in my blog about my daughter who took my Non stop to decorate her gingerbread house, and was so kind; she sent me a big (250 grams) bag. Thank you very much (morgrethe). I really love it all.
Now I`ve written in english too. I`ll soon be back with some more to tell, and may be something to show as well.....
Hope to see you soon.

Bilder av swap-gaver og litt til / Pictures of swap gifts and a bit more
A beautiful tablerunner (with enough red and gold to become a christmas tablerunner in my view), a cute bag with a handy zippered pocket inside, a red towel and a needlekeeper with my name on, and a lovely dark chokolate with almonds. I really love all of it, thanks a lot Odette. A closer look at the tablerunner below. It is now placed on my livingroom table and will stay there for a while.
Here is a picture of what I gave to Odette; a tablerunner and a little tablecloth, a Tilda stitchery ready to be stitched and some norwegian chocolate. When I saw all the lovely things she sent to me I thought I should have sent her a lot more than I did.
My daughter wanted to make a gingerbread house, and here is the result. It`s made from a package of prefabricated pieces which we bought at the nearest store.
Thanks for stopping by, please leave a comment to tell that you were here. I hope you will come to visit another day.
